Effectiveness — A 360 & DISC Assessment System That Replaced Excel and Automated the Workflow for the Training Team
Discover the story of Effectiveness – a Polish consulting and training company that supports leaders and teams through DISC D3 assessments and 360-degree evaluations. Together, we designed and built a modern tool that automates research processes, speeds up reporting, and opens the door to international expansion. This project proves that great technology can empower expert-driven businesses.
From Market Needs to Prototype – How Did It Start?
Effectiveness has been conducting competency assessments for companies in Poland and abroad for years. The team relied on multiple disconnected tools: Excel-based surveys, separate email campaigns, and manual compilation of PDF reports.
The goal was to create one fast and intuitive system that would:
Automate internal processes
Reduce errors and time consumption
Support global expansion
Together with the Effectiveness team, we:
Mapped the full process of 360 assessments and DISC tests in real-world projects
Proposed the system’s structure
Prepared a development timeline with clear milestones
Collaboration Foundations. From Vision to System Roadmap. Before kicking off the development phase, we delivered:
Wireframes illustrating the full assessment journey – from invitation to final report
Technical documentation defining system requirements
A sprint plan with testing and checkpoints for the Client

The system was divided into phases (MVP, extensions, automations), which allowed the Effectiveness team to start using it within just a few weeks. Each sprint concluded with a summary meeting, and progress was continuously shared on a server accessible to the Client.

We conducted functional and performance tests. We also provide ongoing updates, testing, and backups.
SaaS model ready to serve multiple companies
Test reports were shared with the Client in real time. The system now allows creation of accounts for additional partners.
Developer Insights
The biggest technical challenge was creating an advanced PDF and chart generator that met the client’s high reporting requirements. However, by leveraging modern technologies, we achieved a solution that fully satisfied the Effectiveness team.
For me, the most rewarding part of the project was working on a system that truly supports the client’s business growth. Transitioning from Excel to a dedicated tool is a major technological leap that will undoubtedly contribute to Effectiveness’ long-term success.
